Businesses Without a Website in the US: Data From 2,987 Listings (2026)
We checked 2,987 local business listings in the US while LeadSweep users scanned areas there. 25% had no website on their listing. Here's the breakdown by trade, what the data does and doesn't cover, and how to find the ones in your own town.

What this data covers
Car repair shops, barbers, roofers, electricians, tyre shops and plumbers in the US towns LeadSweep users scanned. These are the areas and trades our users chose to scan, not a random sample of every business in the US, so treat the percentages as a guide to those markets.
“No website” means the business listing has no website link. Some of those businesses have a site they never added, and a listed site can still be broken or out of date, which is often just as good a pitch. The method is the same as in our study of 4,370 listings.
Searching in the US
- Add the state to the town: "Bowie, MD", not "Bowie". Many US town names repeat across states.
- In big metros, search a suburb or neighborhood rather than the whole city.
- "Barber shop" and "auto repair" are the trades most likely to have no website here.
