We checked 291 local business listings in Switzerland while LeadSweep users scanned areas there. 21% had no website on their listing. Here's the breakdown by trade, what the data does and doesn't cover, and how to find the ones in your own town.

What this data covers
Restaurants, landscapers (Gartenbau) and dentists (Zahnarztpraxis) in and around St. Gallen, from three scans on one day, so read it as a picture of St. Gallen rather than all of Switzerland. These are the areas and trades our users chose to scan, not a random sample of every business in Switzerland, so treat the percentages as a guide to those markets.
“No website” means no website of their own: no link on the listing, or only a Facebook, Instagram or directory page. Some of those businesses have a site they never added, and a listed site can still be broken or out of date, which is often just as good a pitch. These numbers are what each scan measured as it ran. Searching in Switzerland
- Search in the local language: “Zahnarzt”, “Coiffeur”, “Gartenbau”, “Schreiner”, or the French or Italian word in those cantons. LeadSweep understands local words, so you don't need the English one.
- Swiss dentists and clinics nearly all have a website (none of 28 in St. Gallen lacked one), and most of those sites are in good shape. Restaurants, landscapers and trades are better bets.
- Add “Switzerland” to the town: “St. Gallen, Switzerland”. Busy cities like Zürich are scanned from the centre out, so search a district (“Zürich Kreis 4”) for the rest.
