Businesses Without a Website in the UK: Data From 776 Listings (2026)
We checked 776 local business listings in the UK while LeadSweep users scanned areas there. 31% had no website on their listing. Here's the breakdown by trade, what the data does and doesn't cover, and how to find the ones in your own town.

What this data covers
Mostly plumbers in and around London (621 of the 776 listings), so read it as a picture of that market rather than the whole UK. These are the areas and trades our users chose to scan, not a random sample of every business in the UK, so treat the percentages as a guide to those markets.
“No website” means the business listing has no website link. Some of those businesses have a site they never added, and a listed site can still be broken or out of date, which is often just as good a pitch. The method is the same as in our study of 4,370 listings.
Searching in the UK
- Use UK words: "hairdresser", "tyre shop", "takeaway", "estate agent".
- Search a borough or town ("Bromley", "Croydon") rather than "London": one scan covers the businesses nearest the centre.
- Postcode districts work too, e.g. "SE9, London".
